Public Speaking: A Basic How-To is an updated and adapted selection of sections from the University of Minnesota Libraries Publishing version of Communication in the Real World: An Introduction to Communication Studies. The U of M version was adapted from a work produced and distributed under a Creative Commons license (CC BY-NC-SA) in 2013 by a publisher who has requested that they and the original author not receive attribution.
