My job title is usually referred to as a “Band Itinerant” but SmartFind will probably have it listed as “Music – Instrumental Music”. Also, SmartFind has my location as “LPSDO” but that is incorrect and I usually make a point to indicate that in the “Substitute Instructions” box. As such, this handbook is laid out according to the school’s that I am assigned to. As a band itinerant, I teach beginning level band lessons and several full-band rehearsals.

Each school is unique in many ways, but the overall approach to teaching is similar for each building. Each chapter of this book will focus on a specific school. Below is a link to each chapter (school) of the book:
