3 Accessing LexiComp and Searching for the Needed Monograph

Accessing AHFS DI via LexiComp

To obtain the rest of the information needed to cite a monographs from the AHFS DI, you will need to view the monograph.

To find the AFHS DI monograph for your monograph assignment drug:

  • Go to the Library’s homepage (You should have already opened the library website and  moved it to your ‘working’ window).
  • Click on the “Resources” menu.

  • Click on the “Drug Resources” link
  • Click on the “LexiComp” link.  (UNMC licenses AHFS DI through LexiComp)

  • Login with your UNMC Net ID if asked to do so.

Searching for the Needed AHFS DI Monograph

  • Search for the generic name of your monograph assignment drug.

A search for — montelukast — is shown in the screenshots.  Do NOT search for montelukast unless montelukast is the drug you claimed as your monograph assignment topic!
