Requesting Articles Through Interlibrary Loan

The Interlibrary Loan service connects you with journal articles and books that are not in the UNMC collection. You may click on a citation’s red GetIt@UNMC button and see a link to “Request Article”.

This means it isn’t in the UNMC collection. If it is an article you want to read, you can order it by clicking on the red “Request Article” link and login using your UNMC netID. It can take from one hour to 2 business days to receive an article you have requested, though some articles can take longer. Click through the pictures below to see the process for requesting an article through Interlibrary Loan, hovering over the pictures with your cursor will provide further context.

Note: you will not be charged for any articles that you request, the cost for this service is already included in your student fees.
