Section 3: Fair Use and Public Domain

Fair Use and the Public Domain are important and often misunderstood areas of copyright law. In particular, Fair Use is essential to education as we know it. This module will include an overview of Fair Use, Fair Use scenarios, Public Domain, and a refresher which places both within the context of the previous copyright content.

• Identify the Four Factors of Fair Use and how they concern the use of educational materials.
