What are Open Education Resources (OER)?
Open Education Practices (OEP)
OEP are defined as“collaborative practices that include the creation, use, and reuse of OER, as well as pedagogical practices employing participatory technologies and social networks for interaction, peer-learning, knowledge creation, and empowerment of learners”(Cronin,2017, p. 18). Open pedagogy emerged as the application of OEP within the context of teaching and learning.
Open Education Resources (OER)
OER are generally understood to be “digitized materials offered freely and openly for educators, students and self-learners to use and re-use for teaching, learning and research”(Hylén, 2007, p. 10).
