Canvas Enhanced Gradebook Filters Feature

As part of Canvas’s release notes from last weekend, they have deployed “Enhanced Gradebook Filters” for users.  These filters allow you to sort and filter in the gradebook and provide several other new setting options.  Please see the video from Instructure at the following link to learn about new gradebook possibilities with these enhanced filters:

Canvas Submit on Behalf of Student Feature

Have you ever encountered a situation where a student fails to meet an assignment deadline on Canvas and subsequently emails you their completed work? Naturally, you would still prefer their assignment to be submitted on Canvas, just like the rest of your students’ assignments. Luckily, a new feature has been added to Canvas to provide a solution! Instructors now have the ability to submit assignments on behalf of students. This can be accomplished through the gradebook, and more for detailed instructions please take a look at this Canvas Community article:
