Canvas Quiz IP Filter Settings Update
The DLC Exam Commons updated its IP address range over winter closedown. If you use the DLC for Canvas Quiz testing, this means that you will want to go into your Canvas Quizzes for this semester and update your IP filters to the current “UNL Testing Centers” IP group. To do this, click the magnifying glass in your Canvas Quiz settings, click “UNL Testing Centers” and click Save. Up until now, testing center staff have been manually updating these quiz settings for exams, but your help in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Please reach out to Amy Zachek (amy.zachek@nebraska.edu<mailto:amy.zachek@nebraska.edu>) with questions.

Student Response System Tip
Are you a new user of the Cloud version of the student response system? If so, you can import a student registration guide into your course that assures each student, whether they are using the smart app or a traditional remote, gets properly registered for your cloud-based course. The Canvas Commons module can be added by navigating to the course in Canvas, clicking on the Commons icon in the gray navigation menu, and searching for “iClicker Reef for Students Registration Guides”. Select that module and click on the Import/Download link to add it to your course. Simple, Fast and Informative!
