RCE Features Now Available in Canvas Speedgrader
Canvas recently updated the Speedgrader with Rich Content Editor (RCE) features, and I’ve confirmed that these updates are now available in UNL’s Canvas instance. The new RCE options include headings, bold, italic, underline, font color, hyperlink insertion, and bullet points. Additionally, Speedgrader now allows you to respond to student submissions with video or audio recordings—a feature introduced a few months ago. You can view a screenshot of these features below, and for more information, please refer to the Canvas release notes.

Academic Technologies Learning Series – Gradescope
Please join on Tuesday, September 10th from 1pm-2pm for a session about Gradescope. In this session, Academic Technologies is excited to showcase Gradescope, a new-to-UNL tool that is open to faculty to pilot in Fall 2024. Howard from Gradescope will begin the session by providing a demo of how Gradescope works, and Allan Donsig and Joshua Brummer will also spend some time talking about their experiences using Gradescope in the UNL math department.
