Step 6. Check the Operators and the Parentheses and run the Search

In this case, there is just one heading/subheading combination for each of the concepts so checking parentheses is not as important.

In the future, you may run searches that include several MeSH terms for a single concept.  Make sure these alternate terms for a concept are joined with OR and surrounded by an uninterrupted set of parentheses.

 How Many Results has Your Search Retrieved?

When this tutorial was last updated on July 10, 2024, this search was retrieving over 183 results if Sirolimus explosion was turned off and over 236 results if Sirolimus explosion was retained. (These are the numbers retrieved without any filters.)
