Welcome to MUSC 282 and the Jan 2025 “Winterim” Session… MUSC 282 is one of the music electives for the music technology minor and is an on-line asynchronous course with web-conferencing available on a case-by-case basis.

In order to provide you a bit more time for the final project, while the course ends on Jan 17, 2025, the final project will not be due until Friday, Jan 24, 2025.

Music Technology Courses in the Glenn Korff School of Music have adopted Logic Pro as the primary DAW (digital audio workstation). You will find that all of the examples and discussion in the course will focus on Logic Pro (which will help you for future music technology courses where you will have access to a computer lab!)

Due to the on-line nature of MUSC 282, a second DAW can be used – Pro Tools Intro by Avid.
