Presentation Tips
Research shows that developing public speaking skills helps students both academically but also in everyday life. Regardless of why you have to do it, it can be a scary and intimidating thing to do the first time! In April, all of our seniors will have to give a short presentation on the research project they will complete during the school year. While in the past, this was done in person, the class of 2020 presented their posters entirely online! In 2021, Grand Island and Winnebago presented their posters in person while Omaha North & South presented online.
Whether you present in-person or online, we have advice on how to best prepare for your time in the spotlight. The presentation you will be required to do for this summer camp is slightly different since you are discussing the information you learned from just one or two articles but it will give you some good practice before your Senior Showcase!
