Logic Pro and arranger track

Use the Arrangement Track to work with your song

Step 1 – Display the Arrangement Track

Use the Track menu to select “Global Tracks” and then “Show Arrangement Track”

Step 2 – Add a section label

Click the + button to add a section – click the label and scroll down to “Rename…”

Step 3 – Shorten or lengthen the section label

Move your cursor to the right side of the section and the icon will change – click & drag to shorten or lengthen

Step 4 – Move (reorder) the section (if needed)

Position the cursor so that you see <>. Click and drag to reposition the section within your song.

Step 4a – You’ll get a popup window that shows your status

When you begin to drag the section lable, you’ll see a small window popup with info…

Step 5 – Duplicate a Section

Hold down the “Option” key to duplicate a section – note that you’ll see “Copy”
