What is Libraries Course Materials?
Libraries Course Materials is part of the UNL Libraries Reserves Service and is designed to seamlessly connect students with their course materials. We work with instructors to embed materials of all types, whether part of the UNL Libraries collections, or freely available online (including OER), directly within your Canvas course using the Libraries Course Materials tool.
Our Reserves and Libraries Course Materials Service contributes to student success by providing first day access to course materials at no cost to students.

How can Reserves and Libraries Course Materials Services help?
- Search for and embed UNL Libraries-owned and other materials to your course list
- Add instructor-owned materials
- Digitize articles and book chapters, according to our copyright policy
- Digitize and provide streaming video, according to our copyright policy
- Purchase materials for courses not owned by the library, if available

To get a Libraries Course Materials list, submit this form, OR email (librariesreserves@unl.edu) with your course information and a list of items you would like to include. We can add books, eBooks, articles, videos, images, digital collections, other media, OER and more. Once your list is ready we will provide instructions on how you may integrate it into your Canvas course in any way that meets your teaching and learning goals.

The best way to find Libraries resources you may use in your courses is to start at the UNL Libraries website. The following resources will help you find items.
