5 EMTREE

The subject heading system in EMBASE is called Emtree.  You can usually reach the Emtree thesaurus through the “Emtree” link on upper edge of the page.

  • If you see an EMTREE link/button, click it.

  • Type either —

celebrex

— or —

celecoxib

— in the “Search term in Emtree” slot.

  • Hit the “Enter” or “Return” key on your keyboard. (You may have to hit the return key more than once).

The Emtree search page is shown. The word -- celebrex -- has been typed into the Emtree search box and an arrow points to the "heading" link that has appeared.

  • Click on the “celecoxib” link that appears.
