27 Limits/Filters
Now it’s time to add any desired limits/filters. For the purposes of this tutorial, use the “Randomized-Controlled Trials“, “Humans“, and “English” limits/filters.
- The filters usually appear on the left-hand side of the page with the “Additional Filters” button appearing near the bottom of the left-hand-column content.
- If your working window is small or you have enlarged the content by zooming in, the filters will be hidden and you will have to use the “Filters” button (located to the left, above the result list) to find the filters/limits.
- One at a time, apply the desired limits/filters by clicking the relevant links. You will have to wait for the page to refresh after clicking each limit.
- You may have to click the the “Additional Filters” button to find one or more of the desired filters. After going through the steps to show the new filter, you will have to click on the filter to apply it.
After the application of the filters, at least 36 records should remain. The “Filters Activated” warning will appear (red box).
If you are seeing only a few results, it’s possible that you clicked on a year in the timeline by mistake.
- If you’ve encountered this problem, just click the “Reset” button above the “Timeline” image on the left.
